It is time we make the announcement to the blog world...we have been blessed with another baby on the way!!! The lil one, who has received many interesting names from Connor, is due to arrive August 7th.
Ultrasound picture of the lil one. After our doctor finished taking measurements, it started moving like crazy. Our doctor commented that she rarely ever sees a baby move that much at this early of an ultrasound!!! I guess this one is going to be really active. Good news is, he/she will be able to keep up with Connor and Haley!
My main reason for blogging about today was what happened at our doctor's appt. Let me just start off by saying...we (Van & I) have decided to be real with our kids and tell them like it is from the beginning (as long as it is in terms that they can understand at their age). Connor also sometimes gets one thing on his mind and doesn't stop talking about it. That being said, we were sitting in the quiet hallway outside our doctor's office while she was inside with the door open reviewing my chart, and all of a sudden Connor started talking about vaginas. He said "Oh, I just love vaginas. I love them so much! I wanna poke them. Daddy don't you just love vaginas? We all have vaginas." I'm so glad Van was there to take care of correcting him on that, because I was laughing so hard I was in tears. Van proceeds to tell him that he and Daddy have penises, not vaginas. So then Connor sounds like the little boy on Kindergarten Cop, and says "oh, girls have vaginas and boys have penises. Yeah, you are right, Daddy."
