Snowy Days

Last weekend, we had a crazy winter storm...as if we were in some other northern state.  Usually, we get some snow and the next day the sun comes out and it all melts away...even when we get a lot.  This time it was different in that it started Friday night and continued on and off through Saturday night with snow and ice.  This made it difficult for the road crew to get and keep our roads clean.

Our really good friends, Matt & Brit, were planning to get married on the Saturday of the snow.  Everything went as planned and it was a very beautiful wedding.  I have never been to a wedding in the winter time...but since we had to brave the cold...it was nice to have a beautiful, snowy white covered city.

Here is a picture of Matt & Brit at their rehearsal dinner.  And a pic of us.

While we were attending the festivities of the weekend, our kids were in Sanford playing in the snow.  We were able to drive down and join them on Sunday and then stayed over night because we all had a snow day on Monday.  Connor is pulling Haley on the sled.  Not sure if you can see, but she is laughing really hard.  I know it looks like Connor is wearing some type of headgear, but it's the only way we could keep his hat on.

My lil snow bunny...its Haley in case you can't tell :)

Connor's hunting buddy!

Crazy boys trying to spin out on the ice!

There is an amazing hill at the golf course where my parents live and we took the kids sledding.  We all had so much fun...I felt like a kid again, but now I'm ready for warm weather :)

14 Weeks

Well I have finally reached 14 weeks.  It's not going by as fast as I thought it would.  I feel like each day goes by so slow...maybe it's because we have had such bad weather that we are forced to stay cooped up in the house.  I can't wait for Spring!  I had my dad do an ultrasound last week and here are some of the cute pics of "kiwi".

In this one you can see four fingers laying on his/her chest.
We tried looking, but couldn't see the sex of the baby.  I am so anxious to find out.  Then we can start deciding on names!
